Good questions deserve straight answers.
Here's what leaders typically want to know before we work together.
CATEGORY 1:
GETTING STARTED
-
The best way to find out is a discovery call. We'll talk about where your team is, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to change. If MCC is the right fit, we'll tell you. If it isn't, we'll tell you that too — and point you toward something that might serve you better. We don't take engagements we don't believe in.
-
We work with leadership teams of all sizes, though our facilitation work is most impactful with teams of 6 to 20 people. For larger organizations, we can design engagements that work across multiple teams or departments. Reach out and we'll figure out what makes sense for your context.
-
Yes! It just depends on what you need. A single Working Genius debrief is a half-day. A full Team Reset Protocol spans two days of facilitation plus a 30-day virtual check-in. Executive coaching engagements typically run three to six months. We'll recommend logistics and a timeline based on your goals during the discovery call.

THE WORK
-
A previous offsite is actually a great foundation for the Team Reset Protocol. It means your team already has some shared language and baseline trust — which makes the work go faster and deeper. TRP isn't a replacement for what you've done. It's the layer underneath: addressing what the offsite may not have reached and building the accountability structure to make sure this time, things actually stick.
-
A few things set us apart. First, we don't just diagnose — we build. Every engagement is designed to produce a tangible deliverable your team can use after we're gone. Second, we work with the whole system — not just the leader at the top. Third, we bring a proprietary methodology — the Team Reset Protocol — that most firms don't have. It's not a collection of tools. It's a cohesive system designed specifically for lasting behavior change.
-
For Working Genius engagements, each participant completes a 20-minute online assessment in advance. For Team Reset Protocol engagements, MCC conducts confidential stakeholder interviews in the weeks before the session. For all engagements, we ask the sponsoring leader to complete a brief intake conversation so we can design the session around your team's specific context.
-
Resistance is actually useful data — and it's more common than you might think. It usually tells us something important about the team's history with this kind of work. We design our engagements specifically to meet resistance with curiosity rather than pressure. Lego Serious Play in particular is remarkably effective at lowering defenses because it gives people a way to say through a model what they wouldn't say directly. Most skeptics become the most engaged people in the room.
-
Our facilitation work is most powerful in person — the physical presence and hands-on elements of Lego Serious Play especially require it. That said, we can design hybrid engagements and offer virtual options for certain sessions including check-ins, coaching, and Working Genius debriefs. Reach out and we'll discuss what's possible.

INVESTMENT
-
Pricing varies by engagement type and scope. Standalone modules start at $5,500. The full Team Reset Protocol is $17,500 and includes a 30-day virtual check-in. Executive coaching is priced based on engagement length and frequency. We're happy to walk you through investment details on a discovery call once we understand what you need.
-
Yes. MCC offers a 15% discount on all engagements for nonprofit and mission-driven organizations. We believe this work should be accessible to organizations doing important work in the world — regardless of budget size.
-
Yes. MCC holds MWBE and WOSB certifications, which qualify us for supplier diversity procurement programs. If your organization has diversity spend requirements, we're happy to provide documentation.
-
Our engagement fees cover facilitation, pre-work, design, and deliverables. Working Genius assessments and Lego Serious Play brick kits are passed through to the client at cost. Travel and expenses for on-site engagements outside San Diego are billed separately. We're transparent about all costs upfront — no surprises.

RESULTS
-
We build measurement into every engagement. For the Team Reset Protocol, teams leave Module 3 with a concrete 30/60/90 day plan and specific behavioral commitments they can point to and evaluate. For coaching engagements, we establish clear goals at the outset and check progress regularly. We also conduct a 30-day virtual check-in after every TRP engagement to assess what's sticking and what needs recalibration.
-
We can guarantee our commitment, our methodology, and our presence in the room. What we can't guarantee — and what no honest consultant will — is outcomes that depend entirely on what a team chooses to do after we leave. What we can tell you is that teams who engage fully, implement their commitments, and hold each other accountable consistently see meaningful, lasting change. That's why we build the accountability architecture into the work itself.
-
Every engagement includes a defined deliverable your team keeps. For TRP engagements, a 30-day virtual check-in is included in the investment. Many clients continue with ongoing coaching or periodic facilitation as their teams grow and evolve. We're invested in long-term relationships, not one-time transactions.
Still have questions?
The fastest way to get answers is a conversation. Discovery calls are free, no-pressure, and genuinely useful — most leaders leave with at least one new perspective on what's getting in their way.
