OPERATIONAL COMPLEXITY SLOWS ORGANIZATIONS DOWN
When systems, processes, and teams stop working in sync, organizations feel it everywhere: miscommunication, unclear ownership, reporting issues, operational bottlenecks, stalled initiatives, and constant workarounds.
MCC helps organizations improve operational effectiveness by aligning systems, processes, leadership, and execution.
Whether you're navigating growth, operational friction, or a major transformation initiative, we help create the clarity and alignment needed to move forward with confidence.
Areas of support include:
Operational & systems assessments
Business process redesign
Transformation advisory
Implementation oversight
Stakeholder alignment
Change management & adoption
Fractional transformation leadership
common challenges
Sometimes the issue isn’t a lack of effort.
It’s that the organization has outgrown the way work is currently happening.
Common signs include:
Teams relying heavily on spreadsheets or manual workarounds
Systems that don’t communicate effectively
Reporting that leaders don’t fully trust
Duplicate work across departments
Cross-functional confusion or tension
Unclear ownership and accountability
Processes that vary significantly between teams
Over-customized systems creating unnecessary complexity
Operational bottlenecks slowing execution
Technology investments that aren’t delivering expected value
Leadership lacking visibility into day-to-day operations
Teams struggling to adopt new systems or processes
These issues often appear operational on the surface, but the root causes usually involve a combination of systems, communication, process design, leadership alignment, and organizational habits.
Operational transformation requires more than technology
Successful transformation efforts are rarely just about software.
Organizations often struggle because systems, processes, teams, and leadership expectations evolve at different speeds. Even strong organizations can experience friction when ownership is unclear, communication breaks down, processes become inconsistent, or technology no longer supports how the business actually operates.
MCC approaches transformation through both an operational and human lens.
We help organizations improve:
Operational clarity
Cross-functional alignment
Decision-making visibility
Process consistency
Stakeholder communication
Implementation readiness
Change adoption
Organizational accountability
The goal isn’t simply to implement new tools.
The goal is to help the organization function more effectively.
MODULE 1:
SURFACE —
THE TEAM DIAGNOSTIC
Before anything can shift, the team has to see — honestly and collectively — what's actually been running the room.
Using Lego Serious Play facilitation and confidential pre-work stakeholder interviews, Module 1 creates the conditions for a team to name what's really happening — not the org chart version, but the real version. The patterns, tensions, and unspoken history that show up in every meeting and every decision.
What you leave with: A shared, undeniable picture of your team's current reality — built from your own words, in your own room, that becomes the foundation for everything that follows.
Emotional shift: Unseen → Seen
Half day + pre-work
· Investment: $5,500
MODULE 2:
RESET —
THE REWIRE SESSION
Armed with what surfaced in Module 1, the team now understands why their patterns exist — and discovers a concrete path forward.
Using the Working Genius* framework, Module 2 helps teams reframe how they see each other's contributions, separate identity from behavior, and make conscious choices about how they want to operate together. The afternoon moves into a structured pattern interrupt exercise — naming each collective habit, tracing where it came from, and co-creating specific replacement behaviors the whole team commits to.
What you leave with: A Team Reset Map — your collective Working Genius profile, your named patterns, your replacement behaviors, and individual behavioral commitments witnessed by the room.
Emotional shift: Stuck → Empowered
Full day
· Investment: $9,500
MODULE 3:
WIRE —
THE ACCOUNTABILITY ARCHITECTURE
Insight without structure fades. Module 3 is where the team builds the operating system that makes everything stick.
Held 2–4 weeks after Module 2, when the team is living with their commitments in real conditions — Module 3 surfaces what's working, what's slipping, and what needs recalibration. The team selects an internal Accountability Owner, builds a concrete 30/60/90 day check-in structure, and leaves with a personal reference card capturing their commitments, their team's agreements, and their accountability plan.
A 30-day virtual check-in with MCC is included in every Module 3 engagement.
What you leave with: A personal reference card and a shared 30/60/90 accountability plan.
Emotional shift: Committed → Sustained
Half day + 30-day virtual check-in · Investment: $5,500

TRP is designed for teams who are done settling for temporary momentum.
The Team Reset Protocol works best for:
- Leadership teams navigating significant change: a new leader, reorg, merger, or period of rapid growth that disrupted how the team operates together.
- High-performing teams hitting an unexpected ceiling, talented people who should be working well together but keep running into the same friction.
- Teams whose previous offsite didn't stick, who left inspired and were back to old patterns within 30 days.
- Organizations building a culture of accountability without fear, where high performance and psychological safety aren't in tension, they're inseparable.
Real questions,
straight answers.
-
A previous offsite is actually a great foundation. It means your team already has some shared language and baseline trust, which makes TRP go faster and deeper. TRP isn't a replacement for what you've done. It's the layer underneath: addressing what the offsite may not have reached and building the structure to make sure this time, things actually stick.
-
You don't have to start there. Module 1 is a half-day diagnostic that gives your team a clear, honest picture of what's getting in the way and it stands completely on its own. Most teams find that starting with Module 1 builds the internal case for the rest of the work. Begin where you can and build from there.
-
Most team development addresses what people know. TRP addresses what they do. The combination of Lego Serious Play, Working Genius, and a proprietary accountability architecture (delivered as one cohesive system rather than a collection of tools) is what makes TRP different. And because each module produces a tangible deliverable your team keeps, the work doesn't disappear when the facilitator leaves the room.
-
Resistance is data and it's more common than you'd think. TRP is specifically designed to meet resistance with curiosity rather than pressure. Lego Serious Play in particular is remarkably effective at lowering defenses, it gives people a way to say through a model what they wouldn't say directly. Most skeptics become the most engaged people in the room.
Built by a practitioner,
not a theorist.
The Team Reset Protocol was developed by the founder of Montes Coaching & Consulting — drawing on 20+ years of enterprise experience across ERP implementation, project management, and organizational consulting, combined with certifications in Working Genius facilitation and Lego Serious Play.
TRP wasn't designed in a vacuum. It was built from watching talented teams get stuck in the same patterns and from years of facilitating the honest conversations that finally moved them forward.
Ready to find out what's really getting in the way?
The first step is a conversation. Tell us where your team is, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to change. We'll help you figure out which module is the right starting point and whether TRP is the right fit.
Discovery calls are free, no-pressure, and genuinely useful. Most leaders leave with at least one new perspective on what's getting in their way.
